Pork tenderloin is one of my go-to proteins for the grill. It’s lean, cooks quickly, and takes on flavor like a champ. But if you’ve ever had a dry or bland pork tenderloin, you know it can be a tricky cut to master. That’s where this Grilled Honey Mustard Pork Tenderloin comes in. It’s tender, juicy, and coated in a sticky, tangy glaze that caramelizes beautifully over the heat.
The combination of honey, Dijon mustard, and coarse mustard creates the perfect balance of sweetness and sharpness, while a splash of apple cider vinegar brings just the right amount of acidity to cut through the richness of the pork. A little garlic and black pepper round out the flavors, giving you a glaze that’s bold but not overpowering.

One of the biggest mistakes people make with pork tenderloin is overcooking it. Because it’s such a lean cut, it can dry out fast if you let it go past 145°F. The key is to grill it over direct heat at first, then glaze it as it finishes cooking to develop that beautiful caramelized crust.
Another trick is letting the pork come to room temperature before grilling. This helps it cook more evenly and prevents the outside from drying out before the inside reaches the right temp.

The honey mustard glaze works on a few different levels. The honey mustard glaze is the perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and savory. Pork tenderloin cooks in under 30 minutes, making it great for weeknights or weekend grilling. Cooking to 145°F and letting it rest ensures every bite is flavorful and moist. Leftovers are fantastic for sandwiches, salads, or wraps.

This Grilled Honey Mustard Pork Tenderloin is the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and smoky flavors. It’s easy to make, pairs well with just about any side, and delivers restaurant-quality results right off your backyard grill.
